Randy Mancl started Mancl’s Excavating in 1991 when he graduated from high school. He started with a rubber-tired backhoe, a skidsteer, and a single axle dump truck. As Randy grew the business he added more equipment to support returning and new clientele.
Randy & Tammi’s sons, Tanner, Max, and Kole have been in the business since they were 14 years old. The girls, Kenzie, Kallie, Madyson, and Jessica were also working for Tammi on the lawn care side.
Randy had partnered with his Dad Wencl Mancl and Marc Schwanke through the years. Now Randy and his wife Tammi own the business. In 2022 Tammi & Randy decided to merge her lawn care business, Island City Turf & Snow into Mancl's Excavating, and changed the name to Mancl’s Excavating & Lawn Care LLC.
Randy & Tammi are proud that it has always been a family-owned business with their children and other family members!
